    Advocate Training Begins April 19! If you have an interest in helping victims of domestic abuse? Are able to take two telephone shifts per month from your home and make a one year commitment? Call Jan or Anna at 952-873-4214 for additional information about volunteering at Southern Valley. The information and professional training equips our volunteers to thoroughly understand all the aspects of domestic violence a victim encounters and the resources to help them.

    “Swipe It Forward”   ~   Shopping for a cause on July 15th! We are pleased to tell all KleinBank customers about a wonderful opportunity on July 15th to support The Alliance through using their KleinBank Debit Master card. How it works is that every time a KleinBank customer uses their debit card on July 15, KleinBank, (not the customer) will donate 5 cents to a local non-profit.   • Chaska River City Days Fun Run

    Ready…… Set…… RUN! The Chaska River City Days 5K Run will be held on Saturday, July 25th with all proceeds donated to Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women, Since 1982, The Alliance has assisted over 17,000 victims of domestic abuse in Scott and Carver counties. The race begins and ends in downtown Chaska’s historic City Square Park.
