Mary Hartmann, former victim, current survivor shares her talents and resources with Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women as she donates 100% of her proceeds to The Alliance! “Mary believes that our own lives must first be transformed and filled with meaningful experiences before we can enrich the lives of others. Through workshops and special events, she teaches that we cannot truly love others until we learn to love ourselves.” Visit Mary’s online store to listen and purchase one or both of her heart warming songs. Both songs, “Every Road You Choose” and “You’re Free” are available here: http://maryhartmann.ecwid.com/#!/Music/c/12779020/offset=0&sort=normal
Advocate Training Begins April 18! If you have an interest in helping victims of domestic abuse and are able to take two telephone shifts per month from your home and make a one year commitment, call Jan or Anna at 952-873-4214 for additional information about volunteering at Southern Valley. The information and professional training equips our volunteers to thoroughly understand all the aspects of domestic violence a victim encounters and the resources to help them.
