    Advocate Training Begins April 2! If you have an interest in helping victims of domestic abuse? Are able to take two telephone shifts per month from your home and make a one year commitment? Call Anna 952-873-4214 for additional information about volunteering at Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women. The information and professional training equips our volunteers to thoroughly understand all the aspects of domestic violence a victim encounters and the resources to help them.

    Domestic Abuse Statistics for Scott and Carver County 2015 saw an overall decrease in the cases of domestic violence that Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women worked with.
