Support Group Facilitator

     A support group facilitator has the ability to lead, listen and respond. A facilitator is objective, non-judging, and in a healthy place in her life.
     A facilitator has been in an abusive relationship and given herself the opportunity to heal. A support group facilitator is willing to attend 26 hours of free training. A facilitator is willing to give SVABW a one-year commitment and commit to facilitating a support group on a bi-weekly basis.

Childcare Provider for women attending support group

     A childcare provider has the ability to interact with children in a safe and healthy fashion. A childcare provider is willing and able to pass a criminal background check. A childcare provider is willing to give SVABW a one-year commitment and is willing to provide childcare at women’s support group on a bi-weekly basis.

Crisis Line Advocate

     A crisis line advocate has the ability to offer hope and support by listening and responding with care and concern. A crisis line advocate is willing to attend 20-hours of free training. A crisis line advocate is willing to give SVABW a one-year commitment and commit to at least 24-hours per month on the crisis line. A crisis line advocate may or may not be a survivor of domestic violence.
